Salary: $40,000 – $50,000, along with commissions over threshold, plus benefits

Requirements for Account Manager:

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in the insurance industry
  • Must have P&C insurance license
  • Proven relationship building, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, presentation, listening and organization skills
  • Fluent with Microsoft products, including Teams, with the ability to quickly learn new apps and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
  • Positive thinker, comfortable with fast paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products
  • Ability to work in a team environment and train others as necessary
  • Proficiency in Windows, Word, Power Point and Excel (knowledge of working with spreadsheets is required)
  • Contact Centre experience (preferred)

Responsibilities for Account Manager:

  • Providing excellent customer service for Property and Casualty insurance, completing requests including claims, endorsements, payments, and other insured requests
  • Facilitating and achieving renewals
  • Developing aggressive retention strategies as per customer feedback
  • Providing quotes for prospects
  • Fostering strong and lasting relationships with customers and producers
  • Participating in scheduled team and office meetings
  • Providing account management backup
  • Maintaining working knowledge of carrier products and processes
  • Performing other functions as required
