Position Description: Insurance Sales Agent/Representative

Renegade Insurance is a modern, tech-enabled P&C Insurance Agency that provides an environment for employees to become exceptional through dynamic contributions and growth opportunities. We leverage top-notch technology, a highly efficient and customer-centric service organization, and a state-of-the-art agency model to be a disruptive force in the insurance industry. In this crucial sales role, you’ll lead our outbound efforts, and foster long-lasting client relationships. This position comes with a W-2 contract.

Salary: Minimum $50,000 per year, plus commission on production over threshold, plus benefits.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of outbound sales experience with proven history of production in the insurance industry
  • Proven relationship building, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, presentation, listening and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast pace and rapidly changing environment
  • Having experience as a former agency owner is a plus
  • Identify and solicit sales prospects from outside sources to grow book
  • Has referral connections and is rooted in the community
  • Comfortable with customer interactions through various communication methods and must be able to represent the organization professionally and responsibly
  • High school degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sales
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and phone skills
  • Fluent with Microsoft products, including Teams, with the ability to quickly learn new apps and systems

Responsibilities:

  • Driving sales initiatives in our internal agency, including prospecting, and building a pipeline of prospective customers
  • Driving profitable organic revenue growth through new business production
  • Ability to overcome sales objections and escalations
  • Ability to consultatively sell multiple insurance products to the same customer
  • Managing high volumes of contacts and ensuring all opportunities are actioned
  • Ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and high customer retention
  • Keeping a focus on our core initiatives and our customers
  • Having a proactive approach to reaching out to leads and existing customers
  • Work with clients to present protection and risk management plans and options that fit their risk profiles
  • Compile complete submission data for quoting
